Gaurav Thakur And Neel Kothari’s Indo-German Film ‘The Bombay Blood’ To Screen At The Indian Embassy In Berlin.

The ambitious Indo-German feature film The Bombay Blood, produced by Neel Kothari, Gaurav Hrishikesh Thakur, and Daniel E. Pajak, is gearing up for a significant international milestone with an upcoming special screening at the Indian Embassy in Berlin on September 11. Written, directed, and edited by Gaurav Hrishikesh Thakur, the film brings together filmmakers and actors from India and Germany to tell a genre-driven story rooted in an unusual Indian cultural identity while unfolding against an international backdrop.

The Bombay Blood* is a story that connects two worlds, taking an Indian protagonist and cultural identity into a European setting and placing them at the centre of a high-stakes global survival narrative. The film brings together Indian and German talent, including Dirk Böhling, Philipp Oliver Baumgarten, Katrin Ingendoh, Sabine Urban, Gaurav Thakur, Kashyap Parulekar, Mithun Ramdharne, and Kajal Raturi.

For producer Neel Kothari, *The Bombay Blood* represents a new and significant chapter in his producing journey. Speaking about the film and the larger vision behind the collaboration, Neel Kothari says,“From producing theatre and Marathi film in India to producing an Indo-German film, my journey has been both unexpected and incredibly rewarding. The screening's curator, Rohit Prabhu, emphasized the strong momentum and audience reception surrounding the project, noting that tickets for the Berlin event sold out within just a couple of days of being announced, signaling high curiosity and excitement from both the international community and the local diaspora in Germany.

Following its successful premiere run in Germany, *The Bombay Blood* is now transitioning to its upcoming India chapter, bringing the collaborative project back to the country where its creative journey originated. Director Gaurav Thakur and key German cast members are set to travel across Maharashtra and select cities for a series of promotional engagements and public screenings.
